Iva Ilakovac

Iva Ilakovac (Osijek, April 18, 1996)

She began his music education at the age of nine at the Franjo Kuhač Music School in Osijek. She graduated from music high school in the class of prof. Zvonimir Liker, and in 2020 she graduated in the class of prof. Branimir Pustički.

During her schooling, she participated in cello and chamber music competitions.

So far, she has won several national and regional awards.

As a member of chamber ensembles, she won several first prizes at the Croatian National Competition of Chamber Ensembles (string quartet and duo, piano quintet, piano trio).

At the Croatian Papandopulo Competition for Young Artists (chamber music category) with string quartet wins 3rd prize.

She was a member of BISYOC  International Youth Orchestra in England (2013, 2014), German-Scandinavian Youth Orchestra in Berlin (2014, 2018), European Music Campus Orchestra (2015), International Chamber Music Campus in Weikersheim (2016) and Euphony Orchestra Youth (2017).

She attended seminars of eminent pedagogues such as: Dobrila Berković - Magdalenić, Monika Leskovar, Gustavo Tavares, Krešimir Lazar, Mihovil Karuza, Silvija Sondeckiene, Reinhard Latzko, Enrico Dindo, Jelena Očić, Jakob Kullberg, Michael Flaksman, Evgeniy Miklosrense .
