Strings & Guitar

Strings & guitars are stringed instruments. Strings have 4 strings and a guitar 6. 
Strings are mostly played with a bow, while guitarists with fingers or a pick.
The string instruments you can learn with us are:

• Violin

• Viola

• Cello

• Double bass ​

The age suitable for string instruments and guitar is from 7 years onwards.  

These instruments are present in various bands in different styles of music.
Guitar is the basis of all bands along with drums, while strings have recently become more and more pronounced in melodic and rhythm lines.
As we cooperate with the national minorities of the city of Zagreb, we have the opportunity to participate in the work of various folklore groups where people who play Violin , Double Bass and Guitar  extremely important.

Main points of focus in learning these instruments are:

• Proper setup as a basis for easy playing

• Honing the coordination of left and right hand motor skills and thought in practical improvisation

• Enabling students to play in a group with other instruments

• Curriculum adaptability to student preference

• Emphasis on a positive and motivating learning environment
